HOT AUCKLAND MARKET DRIVES REGIONAL INVESTMENT

“To find gold, look where others are not looking” is the advice to property investors as profound change sweeps the market.

A ‘two speed’ investment market now exists in New Zealand. Many investors say the Auckland property market is overheated and are looking to the regions for their next investments as attention switches to Tauranga, Hamilton and even Christchurch. This trend is driving regional property values upward with increases of up to 15 per cent in a year

At the same time, this change is improving housing supply in the Auckland market, a positive for both first home buyers and investors. Auction attendance is down and affordability has improved by four per cent as interest rates decline and legislative measures dampen the market.

For new and committed investors the key now is to find the best strategy for growth and the tools to implement that strategy.

The Property Masters seminars are New Zealand’s biggest one day property investing education and training event. They are designed to give investors a strong competitive advantage in the current property market.
