Alchemy Equipment Opens Up In Wellington

Christchurch, New Zealand (June 9,  2015) –

New Zealand brand for performance driven apparel and luggage, Alchemy Equipment, has opened their first store in the capital Wellington. The store is located in the city centre at 95 Victoria Street, in the neighborhood of leading fashion stores.

“Opening a store in Wellington is like a homecoming”, says Alchemy Equipment founder Campbell Junor. “Although we are Christchurch based, the idea for the brand was born on a visit to a rainy and windy Wellington some 20 months ago. I saw an opportunity to try something new when I watched office people walking in the streets, wearing brightly coloured outdoor jackets over their smart business suits. There it dawned on me that there is a big potential to bring style and performance together”.

The Wellington store is Alchemy Equipment’s second. Their flagship store, showroom and combined office is located at The Tannery boutique mall in Christchurch. Alchemy Equipment is also widely distributed worldwide with partners in the USA, Germany, Switzerland, France, Japan, Taiwan and Korea.
