St Joseph's Catholic School (Hamilton) students Liam McGirr, Abby Fisher, Dom Flanagan, Georgia Cateley, Alex O'Rourke and Breanne Gee ready to plant their free native seedlings on World Environment Day with Environment Waikato Environment Committee chair Jane Hennebry and Ricoh Hamilton manager Dave Lindsay.
The plants will start off a native garden behind one of the school's classrooms, which is part of St Joseph's Enviroschools plan. Students have already created a sustainable garden on school grounds.
