Missing 84 year old hunter arrives at remote farmhouse

Eighty four year old Feilding hunter Roy Marston has been found safe and well.

Mr Marston was reported missing on Monday evening after failing to rendezvous with his hunting companions near Lake Rotoroa in Nelson Lakes National Park.

Search teams lead by Nelson Bays Police have scoured the area for two days and found no trace of Mr Marston.

About 7pm today (Dec. 12) he arrived at a remote Tutaki Valley farmhouse, about 20km across rugged country from the search area.

He is currently being checked at Murchison Hospital, but early indications are that he is in good health.
