Notice is hereby given pursuant to Napier City Fire Control Bylaw 2008

THE LIGHTING OF FIRES IN THE OPEN IS PROHIBITED

The Prohibition applies to ALL parts of Napier City WITHOUT EXCEPTION, and comes into force on Monday 17 December 2012.

All Fire Permits issued prior to 17 December 2012 are hereby cancelled.

THE PROHIBITED SEASON APPLIES TO ALL FIRES IN THE OPEN AIR INCLUDING OPEN FIRES OF ANY DESCRIPTION, INCINERATORS AND FIXED OR PORTABLE SOLID FUEL BAR-B-QUES.

Exemption: Gas fired Bar-b-Ques.

This declaration of a prohibited fire season shall remain in force until revoked by subsequent Public Notice.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS ORDER CONSTITUTES AN OFFENCE
