Skinny announces new GM

Ross Parker has been appointed as the new General Manager of Skinny, Telecom group’s mobile prepaid business targeting price savvy consumers.
Ross is joining Skinny from Vodafone Australia where he was the Executive GM for Prepay and prior to that the GM for Pricing, Devices and Inventory. He has 13 years of experience in the Telco industry and brings a wealth of leadership, execution, commercial and marketing skills. Ross starts at Skinny in January 2014.

Skinny’s new branding and market proposition, launched a few months ago, is working well and gaining good traction with consumers in our target market segments.

Mr Parker will take over from Paul Taylor, who recently decided to pursue other opportunities after leading Skinny through a period of enormous change. Paul leaves the company in a great position for its next phase.
Skinny will continue to operate as part of Telecom Digital Ventures, the Telecom digital services and innovation unit.
