High-end helicopter trips are proving to be a tourist treat and a profits boost for Auckland private helicopter firm, Heletranz. Heletranz has been ferrying tourists and company executives on trips around New Zealand for a couple of years now and have recently launched a bespoke helicopter concierge service which has proved extremely popular with wealthy, overseas visitors. Heletranz this month debuted its sleek new hanger in Albany which houses six helicopters carrying up to seven people and two new twin-engine machines have also been added to the fleet over the last two years. “Expanding and modernising the heliport was the next step in our growth and we are well positioned in terms of our fleet and new hanger to meet the increased demand for larger twin-engine helicopters from high-end travellers, corporate charters and those who just want an extraordinary experience,” added Sofia.
