Argus Fire Awarded Fire Protection Contract For Christchurch Town Hall

The Argus Fire Christchurch team have recently been awarded the Fire Protection works of the Christchurch Town Hall refurbishment, a particularly challenging and prominent project. The aim of the work is to restore and rebuild the award-winning complex to better than its original state.

This includes totally new Fire alarm/Smoke detection systems, and reconfigured, extended, and repaired fire sprinkler systems.  As the original systems are nearing 50 years old, detailed condition checks and testing of the original sprinkler pipework is being done along with replacing all original sprinkler heads and controls are being replaced to ensure future reliability. This is a hugely important project and the Argus Fire team feel they are more than equipped for the job.

Argus Fire have also been involved in similar projects such as the Auckland Art Gallery and the Auckland War Memorial Museum upgrade and refurbishments, proving their undoubted expertise in this area.
