A moving Powhiri in Christchurch today as Rangi Ruru Girls’ School welcomed their new Principal, Dr Sandra Hastie.
With her husband Bruce, Dr Hastie walked through the school chapel (St Andrews at Rangi Ruru) with new staff and the Year 7-13 girls who were starting their new school year, looking on.
Sandra Hastie says she has the “dream job” as principal of Rangi Ruru and looks forward to continuing the excellent work the school does with learning and teaching, with a view to further growing the leadership and entrepreneurial components of the school curriculum.
