As the NZ Herald reported last month, Richie McCaw flew as Air New Zealand’s Brand Ambassador on their inaugural flight to Argentina. He was on board the Boeing 777-200 in a role he has had since 2010. Passengers were welcomed by performances by a kapa haka group and tango dancers. The flight marked the first time that the national carrier has operated a regular service to South America in its 75-year history.
