MUSAC Ltd, the education software business that was spun out of Massey University in 2014, has appointed Shane Gorinski as Chief Executive, replacing Greg Twemlow who is returning to Australia.

Shane is currently Head of Consulting at Davanti Consulting in Wellington, working in software implementation, cloud architecture, and mobile solutions. He has over 30 years of sales, marketing and management experience with blue chip NZ organisations and clients such as Spark, Ministry of Education, MediaWorks and TVNZ. His information technology roles include Head of IT Delivery at Vodafone and Programme Director at Gen-i.

Shane is an experienced leader in both corporates and smaller client-focused organisations, and has strong strategic and business transformation credentials. He has an MBA from Victoria University and a Certificate in Adult Education, as well as professional qualifications in IT and project management.

Shane is delighted to be returning to his home town of Palmerston North, and will start with MUSAC towards the end of March.

“We are very pleased that Shane is joining us for the next stage of MUSAC’s development,” said Chair David Glover. “MUSAC is the leading cloud-based school services provider in New Zealand, and under Shane’s leadership we look forward to further growth and innovation.”
