When Regan Wigg and his team first set up Physio Connect, their aim was to ensure that their services were accessible to everyone who has sustained an injury. This meant they would make sure that every Aucklander who required their physiotherapy services could obtain advice and treatment to assist them back to work or sport, as soon as possible.

They made the decision to do this without a co-payment on top of the ACC cover. Therefore, at Physio Connect, any consultation covered by ACC is completely free; no co-payment, no strings attached. If you have been injured in the last 12 months, you are eligible to have free 30-60min physiotherapy sessions under ACC.

They also have a ‘no referral’ process, where if someone has sustained an injury, they can make an appointment as soon as possible with the Physio Connect consultant to get an assessment. The consultant will then discuss, when the patient makes their appointment, whether or not they will be eligible for ACC cover.

Physio Connect has invested in the latest medical software which allows them to fill out and file ACC claims electronically. This means they can have your cover organised at the time of your appointment at no extra cost. If you have been having treatment with another provider and costs are getting out of hand, talk to the team at Physio Connect about continuing the same level of care at no cost if covered under ACC, or a very reasonable cost if not covered.

Physio Connect work with their patients to make physiotherapy treatment affordable, and the first step is to them for a ‘no obligation’ free chat. They can discuss your specific injury and whether they can organise cover for this. From there they will book you in as soon as possible to assess your injury before beginning your treatment.

For anyone looking for a physiotherapist, the Physio Connect team have got the affordability, passion and knowledge to get them back doing what they love, so to find out more about Physio Connect and their physiotherapy services please go to http://www.physioconnect.co.nz .
