The directors of Just Water International Ltd last week announced a net profit before tax of $1.1 million for the half year ended 31 December 2016, which was a 14% increase on the previous year.

Cash flow generated $2.3 million (2015 $1.6 million) and debt reduced to $0.4 million (2015 $1.1 million). The directors advised that they believe the company is in a position to recommend the resumption of a dividend for the full year.

The new Head Office in Auckland, opened by the former Prime Minister, John Key in September 2016, has been valued at $4.6 million, a 7% increase over its cost including the $1.0 million spent on refurbishment. The Company intends to continue its share buyback programme.
