Auckland City Toyota Proud to Support Police Managers Guild Trust

Auckland City Toyota is proud to support the Police Managers Guild trust in their Crime Prevention Campaign in Auckland. The Trust has two key objectives:

One, to educate New Zealanders with useful information that helps people avoid becoming victims of crime, and two, to provide funding to groups dealing with victims of crime and crime prevention programmes.

The Trust produces booklets that contain information that assists victims of crime and helps prevent crime. Over two million journals have been distributed free to homes throughout New Zealand. The number of publications delivered to homes in any one area is directly related to the level of support generated from each individual business community. The Trust has returned over three million dollars to community groups in need of support.

The Crime Prevention Community is an online community committed to bringing together, business, community groups and Kiwis to make communities safer and is run by the Police Managers Guild Trust. The aims of the Crime Prevention Community are to

educate New Zealanders with useful information that helps people to avoid becoming victims of crime.

Their other aim is to provide funding to groups dealing with victims of crime and crime prevention programmes, to provide a place for business and group0s to support local programmes, and to provide tools for the community to share information and take action on community programmes.

Supporting local community groups and organisations is important to Auckland City Toyota in giving back to the community and it is hoped that by sponsoring the Police Management Guild, Auckland City Toyota is contributing to the prevention of crime across Auckland.
