Ignore the hype of a market place stalling or falling, Susan Duncan, a Real Estate Agent plugged into the pulse of the housing sector says it is merely coming full circle and returning to a normal market.

Susan Duncan, a proud Bayleys agent and Hamilton East specialist known for her honesty and hard work understands the property market better than most, including the media and their misleading headlines designed to turn off potential buyers.

“The reality is that the market has returned to a normal market after the buyer urgency and unprecedented growth witnessed last year has ceased,” says Susan. “The Hamilton market is a very healthy market.”

Stories have recently surfaced stressing the state of the Hamilton property market in regards to auction rooms and although they acknowledge this is just normality returning, headlines have a way of misguiding the public.

Being part of a prestigious brand such as Bayleys has helped Susan to understand the state of housing in New Zealand and stopped her from pushing the panic button, knowing that last year’s marketplace was never going to last.

“The market activity of 2016 simply wasn't sustainable. By utilising an experienced and skilled agent who can in turn deploy an effective marketing and buyer attraction strategy, vendors continue to achieve excellent results,” explains Susan.

Despite the recent decline in houses going to auction, Bayleys agents have ignored the trends and have continued to find success at the hammer. The Waikato branch is on pace to see 500 homes go for auction this year, eclipsing 400 in 2016.

Because of the shift 2017 has seen in the housing market Susan stresses it has never been more important to pick the right agent. But why choose someone like Susan Duncan, a Bayleys Real Estate Agent?

“We are consummate professionals. The mix of experience and skill that we bring to the marketing and sale of what is often your most valuable asset is well worth investing in,” says Susan.
