Volvo Hydraulic rock breakers now available in NZ

Volvo Construction Equipment’s new series of hydraulic breakers for excavators is now available in New Zealand. Ideal for mining, demolition, site excavation, concrete breaking and construction, the Volvo hydraulic rock breaker is a high-powered excavator attachment that allows for both force and control in hammering.

The two-speed control offers flexibility and tailored frequency depending on the application. A large diameter piston allows for maximum force, and the energy of the impact can be tempered by speed control.

The large capacity accumulator works as a safeguard against pressure spikes and recycles the piston’s energy. Safety features include the anti-blank firing that eliminates dry firing as well as fully sealed housing.

Additional features include an optional Auto-lube system to cater for greasing and the equipment is backed up by a Volvo CE warranty. Available from TransDiesel, the hydraulic breaker package includes hydraulic hoses, the breaker, a breaker bracket and a multitude of interchangeable tools.
