“I want to make classical music accessible and to encourage people to step out of their comfort zone and enjoy a wider range of music,” says Aidan Phillips.

With an undeniable passion for classical music Aidan wants to share his enthusiasm for the music with people who don’t normally enjoy classical music “I want to communicate my love of classical music to a wider audience,” comments Aidan.

As a baritone singer, Aidan specialises in “Vocal performances ranging from serious classical pieces to light entertainment,” adds Aidan.

A baritone is a type of classical male singing voice whose vocal range lies between the bass and the tenor voice types. The term comes from a Greek word meaning 'deep voice,' Baritones sing in a warm, attractive range of notes.

Aidan is an award-winning singer with the credentials to back himself up. He was the winner of the Waikato Singer Of The Year in 2017 at Hamilton competitions. He also performed as a soloist as a Vox Baroque Chamber Group and participated in the New Zealand Secondary Students Choir.

With a range of repertoire and confidence to step out there, Aidan Phillips has serenaded audiences with his baritone stylings.

Aidan’s performances are ideal for school workshops, wedding, functions, marketplace entertainment, churches, concert halls, musical therapy and public performances.

Aidan is assisted by leading industry professionals who draw on their years of experience to guide Aidan on his upcoming performances, “Ian Campbell and Stephanie Aeraman are successful professional singers, vocal coaches and advise on repertoire selection and performance,” says Aidan.
