Superstar Stevie Nicks recently performed at Dunedin for her 24 Karat Gold Tour on the 24th of November, and her stage crew took time off the day before the show to explore Dunedin’s wildlife and heritage with the tour guide experts at Back to Nature Tours.

Back to Nature Tours lead the Stevie Nicks’ crew on an exploration of the most popular Dunedin attractions, starting with the city sites. The crew was impressed with Baldwin Street, the steepest city in the world, as well as the University of Otago and the Historic Dunedin Railway Station. From here, the crew went on to explore Smails Beach, where the sea lions and their pups put on a great show, and moved on to Portobello, the Tidal Inlets, and another remote Beach. The last stop was the Taiaroa Head, where the crew were lucky enough to witness a Northern Royal Albatross in flight only metres away from the lookout cliffs.

The Back to Natures Tours team had looked after the Fleetwood Mac crew last year, and the crew had such a great time that they booked with the company again this year. Overall, the crew was generally enthusiastic and impressed with Dunedin, greatly enjoying their experience this year as well.

As a token of thanks to their knowledgeable tour guides, Laurie Schaal and the rest of Stevie Nicks’ crew generously sorted out the Back to Nature Tours team with tickets for Stevie Nicks and The Pretenders at the Forsyth Barr Stadium.

The team at Back to Nature Tours is hoping to introduce more bands and crews to the oldest city in New Zealand through their highly recommended Dunedin tours, led by professional and knowledgeable tour guides. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, their tour packages can be custom-tailored for all touring needs, especially for Dunedin shore excursions or private/custom tours.

Back to Nature Tours also offer Tauranga Shore Excursions and Day Tours as well as Akaroa Tours. View their comprehensive list of expert tour guide services to find all the details and visit the Back to Nature Tours website today.
