A glimpse of the lifestyle of the future will be provided in an exciting  new $12 million development at one of New Zealand’s most desirable locations, Pauanui, by New Zealand’s first international standards approved Green Building Company, Green Homes NZ.

The development, called Pauanui Green, is the first of its type in New Zealand and will offer buyers the opportunity to own an Architecturally Designed, modern, eco-friendly, future-proofed home in the peaceful resort town of Pauanui, located on the Coromandel Peninsula. It is situated next to the Waterways development as well as the golf course and will be launched late January.

Future-proofing features include LED Lighting, water efficient tapware, top insulation, air conditioning and double glazing, ensuring comfortable living through all seasons

Additional options include solar panels, battery storage,  electric vehicles, charging station and water retention & reuse.

“This may be your perfect holiday escape or second home and/or a source of income in a very desirable location,” says Green Homes general manager Andrew Olsen.

“This is a house that will love you back so that in 10 years’ time it will still be an efficient home with the technology and the lifestyle adaptability,” Mr Olsen says.

There are only 16 prime sections at Pauanui Green to choose from – all 600m2 plus.

These properties are priced from $695,000 to just over $1 million for a house and land package and options range from 2 bedroom to 4 bedroom with 20 choices each with multiple top quality personalisation options.

Buyers get to choose the site they want as well as their floor plan, exterior look, and interior design.

Mr Olsen said the target markets for buyers will be people in Auckland and Hamilton  looking for a bach at Pauanui – and those over 55 years such as farmers looking to retire to Pauanui or those looking to upgrade their old homes for a new warm dry comfortable energy-efficient home.

“It’s about the lifestyle, about family, about being in a gorgeous, safe environment that not only will look after you in your freedom years but looks after the next generation as well,” says Mr Olsen.

Green Homes New Zealand is the only builder in New Zealand to be certified Green by adhering to  ISO 50001, a specification created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
