Book Fiordland & West Coast Tours with Heli Tours, Queenstown

Heli Tours Queenstown is taking bookings for their Fiordland and West Coast tours. The company has a range of tours that takes visitors around the areas native forest and the Fiords.

The Milford Sound cruises will take visitors from Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown and fly west towards Milford Sound. Visitors will go deep into the Fiordland National Park marked by hidden valleys, waterfalls and alpine lakes before landing at Milford Sound. The pilot will escort visitors to the tourist boat terminal and check-in for the Milford Sound cruise. After the cruise the pilot will fly past jaw dropping ice shelves and glaciers before enjoying a snow landing for photo opportunities. The tour ends in Queenstown.

Heli Tours can customise the Milford Cruise options with West Coast beach landing or a two hour scenic boat cruise or a three-hour Milford track hike. The luxury Milford Sound cruise aboard the Fiordland Jewel offers day and night cruising, private charters and multi-day experiences, all with a private chef.

The Fiordland Exclusive tour will fly visitors southwest from Queenstown over New Zealand high country, large scale sheep and beef farms, secluded alpine lakes and Lake Manapouri. The flight path follows the rugged peaks and steep forested valleys to the twisting hidden inlets of the fiords, located in this massive wilderness area.

Visitors can enjoy the stunning scenery of Doubtful Sound, Dusky Sound and Breaksea Sound.

The six-hour tour will take visitors towards the Tasman Sea where they can watch dolphins, enjoy a secluded beach for a gourmet lunch, relax and chat with the pilots who have extensive knowledge of the area. Visitors will continue the journey through Fiordland looking at sights along Bligh Sound, Lake Quill, Sutherland Falls and the Milford walking track. They can also view Lakes Iceberg and Erskine, the Routeburn Track, Mt Earnslaw and see the tussock covered hills of Moonlight and the Moke Lake areas before landing back at Queenstown.
