Search for missing men in Tasman District, 1:00pm

Three 26 year old males went for a walk up the Pororari River Near Punakaiki at 6.30p.m on Tuedsay night.

They were expected out by 10.30p.m and the Police were advised at 10.00a.m. on Wednesday morning that the three had returned.

All three were only dressed in shorts and tee shirts and were not equiped for a overnight trip.

A helicopter search is currently being made in the area
