Road Closure in Counties Manukau District, 6:00pm

The section of the Southern Motorway where collision occured earlier near Walter Strevens Drive overbridge, Papakura has now been closed for a period of time.

This is to assist the removal of a forklift and other debris and also allow a detailed examination of the overbridge and the damage caused.

Motorists trying to use that section of the road and on ramps will need to find an alternative route.
