Warning to motorists - Homer tunnel - Milford

Police are attending a crash on State Highway 94 (The Milford Sounds Highway) at the Homer Tunnel, where a vehicle rolled injuring two people at around 12 pm today.

And again at 1.35 pm a second vehicle has also crashed at the same place, with two other motorists also receiving minor injuries.

Police Officers at the scene are urging all motorists travelling on that section of the road to take extreme care with the icy, wintry road conditions. Motorists should adjust their speed and following distances to the road and weather conditions.
