Serious crash in Papakura

Police are attending a serious one car accident on Papakura/Clevedon Rd just south of the Clendon/Takanini Rd. The vehicle with four occupants crashed into a lamp-post. Two of the 4 occupants are trapped and are being cut out of the vehicle by emergency services.

Police, Fire and Ambulance are in attendance and traffic diversions have been set up south of the Papakura/Clevedon Rd and the intersection of Papakura/Clevedon with Tourist Rd in the north.

Preliminary assessment of occupants injuries - two occupants are status 2 and the other two are status 3.
