UPPER HUTT

Police are appealing for sightings and information of a female missing from Upper Hutt since 4pm on Sunday 3 January 2010.

Upper Hutt Senior Sergeant Jason McCarthy says that Cushla Rachael Braddock, 28, was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers when she left home.

"Cushla lives with her parents and the lack of contact with them is out of character for her," says Upper Hutt Senior Sergeant Jason McCarthy. "She hasn't been in contact for almost 48 hours. Her family and Police are concerned for her welfare and want to hear from her or anyone with information."

Cushla has in the past frequented the Hutt River bank on walks. She's also known to catch public transport into Lower Hutt and Wellington City.

Members of the public can contact the Upper Hutt Police Station on (04) 527 2300 with information that could assist Police.
