Rape of 45 Year Old Female in New Lynn

Waitakere CIB is investigating the rape of a 45 year old New Lynn resident.

Between the hours of 3.00am and 5.00am on Saturday the 27th of March 2010, the offender has been in the area of Tahi Terrace, Rua Road and Fruitvale Roads in New Lynn. Police believe the male was on foot and would have been walking around in this area and may even live in the area.

The offender has gained entry into a dwelling house where the rape has occurred.

Police are very concerned in regard to this incident and are appealing for any possible sightings of this male in the area.

The male is described as being light skinned and of tall solid build. The male was wearing a light coloured T shirt and shorts which may have seemed unusual for the time of the morning.
