Diesel Spill - State Highway 1, Waiouru

Police are in attendance at a diesel spill stretching up to 4 Kilometres along the southbound lane of State Highway 1 just south of Waiouru. The road surface is slippery and motorists are advised to take care and drive to the conditions. Contractors will be onsite to clean up the spill and at this stage there is no eta when that will be completed.
