No suspicious circumstances in Upper Hutt death

Hutt Valley CIB are continuing their enquiries into the death of a 47 year old man in Upper Hutt, discovered yesterday.

Detective Sergeant Christiaan Barnard says a post mortem examination was completed today and there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death, which will be referred to the Coroner in due course.

The body of the deceased was found underneath the Totara Park bridge on river stones next to the river at about 1:15pm yesterday by a member of the public.
