SUMMARY OF SUBMISSIONS TO PLAN CHANGE 8
In accordance with Clause 7 of Schedule 1 of the Resource Management Act 1991 a summary of the decisions requested in submissions received to the following Plan Change has been prepared:
PLAN CHANGE 8 (PEDESTRIAN ACCESSWAYS) TO THE OPERATIVE CITY OF NAPIER PLAN
Public Inspection
The summary of submissions is available for viewing from Thursday 13 September 2012 at the following locations:
- Napier City Council Planning Department Reception (2nd Floor Library Building) Station Street, Napier;
- Napier and Taradale Public Libraries; or
- www.napier.govt.nz keyword: dpchanges
Any queries about, or requests for copies of Plan Change 8 should be made by telephoning a member of the Napier City Council’s Policy Planning team on (06) 835-7579.
Who can make a Further Submission?
Further Submissions are limited to any person representing a relevant aspect of the public interest or any person that has an interest in the plan change greater than the interest of the general public has, and can only submit in support or opposition to an original submission that is included in the summary of submissions. Further submissions cannot raise any new issues, but should give detailed reasons for any support or opposition to an original submission.
Making Further Submissions
Further submissions can be made using the Further Submission Form, which is available at the Napier City Council Planning Department, or can be made online at: www.napier.govt.nz keyword: dpfurthersubmission
A copy of the further submission must also be sent to the original submitter within 5 working days of making a further submission to the Council.
All written further submissions should be addressed to the Senior Policy Planner and:
Posted to: Napier City Council, Private Bag 6010, Napier 4142; or
Delivered to: Planning Department Reception (2nd Floor Library Building), Station Street, Napier; or
Faxed to: (06) 835-7574 (if you fax your submission, please post or deliver a copy to one of the above addresses).
The closing date for further submissions is 5:00 pm Wednesday 26 September 2012
Public Participation
After the closing date for further submissions, a Hearing may be held by Council on all of the submissions and further submissions made on Plan Change 8. Council will make a decision whether or not to accept each submission or further submission and the reasons for its decision. Any submitter or further submitter has the right to appeal Council's decision to the Environment Court.
