Waitakere coffee roasting enterprise, VOLT ESPRESSO is opening its first espresso bar in Newmarket, Auckland from 16 July.

The walk up espresso bar is situated at 110 Carlton Gore Road serving the finest of Volt Espresso coffee, smoothies, freshly squeezed juices as well as four flavours of gelato.  The food cabinet holds a daily offering of a variety of cupcakes, wickedly sinful chocolate cake, biscotti, croissants, slices, sandwiches and wraps.

Important to note, is the barista.  Winged up from Wellington, Kevin Batten is a career barista leading the team.  Kevin has a coffee aficionada following in the capital who were very sorry to see him go.  He will be supported by Auckland Barista Janet Whelch.

Win Coffee for a YEAR!
To celebrate the opening of the espresso bar, two lucky customers will win a freshly made Volt Espresso coffee every open day for a year! Entry is by a single coffee purchase from the new espresso bar during opening fortnight from the 16th to the 30th July.  Entry is via facebook.com/VoltEspresso and an entry box in the bar and will be drawn at the bar on 1st August.
