Woosh Wireless today announced it has successfully completed on air testing of its new high-speed wireless technology.
General Manager of Operations, Richard Fry, says the technology, when added to Woosh’s new and existing towers, will deliver substantially better performance than what Woosh has available today. “It is expected customers will experience ADSL-like speeds which will enable the majority of customers to enjoy a seamless internet experience”. The service will operate in the Woosh licensed 2.3 GHz spectrum.
Roll out of the upgraded network is progressing across multiple locations within New Zealand.
Woosh has always been a customer champion for lower price broadband and Mr Fry says Woosh will aggressively price the new service to provide a competitive alternative in the broadband marketplace.
