Premier Tapes, the company with 30 years of experience in the construction, industrial and technical adhesive tape industry, is geared to producing effective and workable solutions for their customers. The company has introduced a new product called Maxflex Tape. Premier Tapes launched the new product to complement their range of Maxflex insulation tape. According to reports Maxflex Tape will be available from early June 2017.

Maxflex Tape is made from EPDM insulating foam sheet. It is specially coated with selected acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive in order to ensure good tacking strength and long service life.

The tape is made from the same elastomeric material as Maxflex. It is perfect for quick and easy installation. Usage is simple; it needs to be wrapped on the hot or cold pipes, or pipe fittings. The tape will adhere firmly to all metals.

It has a density of 60-100kg/m3 nominal. The service temperature is from the range of -29C to +93C. Water Absorption is less than 5% by volume after 28 days submersion ASTM-D-1056. Thermal Conductivity is 0.04 W/mK at 24°C. The flexibility of the tape product is excellent.

Premier’s Maxflex Tapes are available in size 3mm x 50mm x 9.1m rolls. They provide protection against frost and are excellent in rebound recovery. The product is ideal for duct application. It helps minimise heat loss in pipes. Another characteristic of the product is its low moisture absorption. The tape is available in black for low visibility. It has an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive solvent base.
