Armstrong Motor Group East Hyundai Launch

The finishing touches are being put on the Hyundai side of the massive new dealership in Botany.

Built on a large 11,000 m2 site at 279 Ti Rakau Drive and boasting nearly 5,500m2 of floor space, the dealership was always built for two brands, with separate facilities already in place for Mercedes-Benz Botany.

“We now have two exceptional franchises for the site that compliment each other really well, and it will create a new automotive centre that East Auckland has lacked up until now,” said managing director, Rick Armstrong.

“With Mercedes-Benz having been opened in early June, Hyundai will be following with an official launch weekend on the 29th-30th July. The new dealership has been a huge undertaking and I am delighted that the new state-of-the-art facility is now complete,” he added.

The dealership has been in the making for two years as land was found, designs were finalised and the build programme completed.

“We are incredibly happy with the outcome. The dealership is in the centre of one of New Zealand’s fastest growing areas, and now having Hyundai - a quality high volume brand with a wide range of vehicles, it will compliment Mercedes-Benz, and is a perfect fit for us,” Rick Armstrong concluded.
