Fargo Design Ltd are well known for their branding primarily, but they also design websites, and the two most important words at Fargo Design are ‘communication’ and ‘process’. Both of these are the key to a successful design project, no matter what the discipline. 46.1% of people say a website’s design is the number one criterion for discerning the credibility of the company.

They have had considerable success designing the Ponsonby Manor website, and recently updated it using WordPress. This is a huge jump from what it used to be, and it now fits the quality and aesthetic that the Manor holds proud. The Fargo Design team felt the website design needed to show how extensive the renovations had been on the historical building. Using sourced imagery from the turn of the century to show it origins, the team offset that with a tasteful colour palette and large gallery of the new fitout.

The site has recently won New Zealand Tourism Guide’s Top Tourism Site Award  as it ‘stands out from the pack’ and ‘it truly enhances New Zealand as a travel destination.’ Very high praise that Fargo Design and their client are extremely happy about.

Fargo Design also recently had the pleasure of working on the Urban Greenscape brand design , as well as delivering a beautiful website and stationery. The brand brief was simple – create something elegant that represented the values the company prides itself on; respect, value and quality.

Once the brand was finalised, the team set out to construct a website that followed these guidelines. Simple, clean, elegant. The simple brand construction allowed for a greater flexibility in designing the website. Not only is the information set out in a simple manor, the site uses an easy navigation system to get find exactly what you’re looking for.

Another example of their website design was for the YWCA’s Pay Equity campaign with a portal for progressive businesses to enter the Equal Pay Awards who are actively addressing pay equity between men and women.  Designed and built in Adobe Muse, this website has all the bells and whistles – blog and social media feeds, embedded video, parallax scrolling etc.
