The largest automotive dealership in New Zealand, Mercedes-Benz Botany has officially opened its doors with a grand opening event held on Thursday the 29th June 2017.

Managing Director and owner of Armstrong Motor Group, Rick Armstrong, Mercedes-Benz Director of Dealer Development Australia and Pacific, Andrew Cutter, were among the attendees of the grand opening. General Manager of Mercedes-Benz New Zealand, Ben Giffin officially cut the ribbon declaring the 5,100-square meter facility officially open. 250 attendees of the event joined to celebrate the official opening and successful first 30 days of operation, having delivered over 60 Mercedes-Benz vehicles at the 279 Ti Rakau Drive, Botany site.

Armstrong Motor Group is no stranger to the Mercedes-Benz brand with two established dealerships, in Christchurch and Dunedin, with Mercedes-Benz Christchurch having been named Mercedes-Benz dealer of the year for the past five years.

“The Mercedes-Benz brand is aspirational brand, people just want to own one of their vehicles,” said Managing Director of Armstrong Motor Group, Rick Armstrong. “With the current generation of products, the demand is even higher, this is because they are always a market leader in technology, safety and design. It’s very rare to find an excellent site and location to purpose build a dealership from the ground up and to have the opportunity to install the latest technology.”
