What is Ask Bartercard?

Since its inception in New Zealand in 1992, Bartercard has become a familiar household name growing to  over 6,000 member businesses across New Zealand and trading over $150 million worth of goods and services outside the cash economy each year.

Bartercard provides business opportunities to members by converting unutilised trading capacity and excess inventory into business opportunities with new customers. It's world-leading, innovative trade exchange system allows over 24,000 member businesses in nine countries worldwide to benefit from the cashless economy of bartering. 

While Bartercard may be a familiar name, you may not yet have heard about Ask Bartercard. Ask Bartercard is a new online hub dedicated to capture frequently asked questions about the network.  It  is an open and honest forum allowing anyone to ask anything about Bartercard.  It’s also a great resource providing more information about what Bartercard is and isn’t, how to use it for business networking to build your business and how to trade effectively.  

Once registered, users can submit their question and expect an answer within 48 hours.  TheAsk Bartercard panel of staff review each question and will notify you before your question is published with an answer.

You can check out their FAQ page first, in case your question has already been answered. If it hasn’t, simply register/log in and let them know what you’d like to know! If your question is deemed offensive or not constructive, the Ask Bartercard staff will let you know that it will not be published, however your question will still be answered.
