The upcoming 2019 international rugby tournament in Japan is seeing high demand from fans all over the world as Supporters’ Club/Front Row priority ballots for official tickets closed late last month.

To date, Rugby World Cup™ 2019 has received 2.5 million ticket applications across all ballot phases, with the priority ballot phase receiving close to 900,000 ticket applications within a 5-week period.

First general ticket sales will be the next ticket-selling phase, with applications opening on the 19th of September, Wednesday, lasting until the 12th of November, Monday. Ticket purchases for first general ticket sales will also be decided by ballot, while second general ticket sales early next year will be sold at a first-come-first-served basis.

Not only are official tickets seeing unprecedented demand from avid rugby fans. All Black Tours, official supporter tour for the All Blacks, is also quickly selling out of official tour packages as fans have already snapped up 80 per cent of their packages. One of All Blacks Tours’ Opening Ceremony Independent Packages has already sold out, among other popular packages.

In an interview with New Zealand Herald, general manager of All Blacks Tours David Caldwell said, “The response has been phenomenal from the New Zealand marketplace.”

For fans, Japan is clearly somewhere they want to go.”

The unique cultural, historical, and culinary experiences offered by host city Japan is certainly something that fans are looking forward to, on top of witnessing the first World Cup held in an Asian country.

If you want to support the All Blacks as well as experience the exotic culture of Japan in the upcoming 2019 Rugby World Cup™, snap up All Blacks Tours’ packages before they completely sell out.
