Tier 1 ConstructSafe Test Available at Evolve Training Academy

Evolve Training Academy is conducting Tier 1 ConstructSafe tests in Auckland. The test costs $149.50 per two attempts.  The company is a registered ConstructSafe test centre. As of July 1st 2017 anybody working on an NZTA State Highway must hold a Tier 1 ConstructSafe card.

Evolve Training Academy helps businesses train in temporary traffic management, health and safety, TTM driver training and ConstructSafe. The company assesses businesses to propose a tailored training package for its staff. Their trainers will report back about training, recommendations and reminders of all upcoming refresher courses. 

The company has been providing NZQA accredited unit standards for traffic management training; traffic controller, driver training, through to competency based STMS and health & safety mitigation courses. They are regulated by NZQA & NZTA and independently audited. Their courses are based on NZQA unit standards and recorded on individual’s NZQA Record of Learning. They have competency-based assessments. Their professional Level 4 adult educators teach technical industry specific courses.

Anyone can take the interactive test at an accredited ConstructSafe test centre. A ConstructSafe card is issued to those who successfully pass the test so they can prove that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out work safely.  Anyone can check a ConstructSafe card using a mobile device, providing instant verification of competency.

ConstructSafe is designed to assess the knowledge of health and safety.  The interactive test is delivered online either on a tablet or desktop computer. During the test, candidates are asked 50 questions that cover the key areas of risk associated with the industry. 

Candidates should complete the online registration through Evolve to secure the space.   Payment can be made by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer.  Candidates should bring a valid form of identification.

Evolve Training Academy has come out of a collaboration between Evolution Traffic Management and Passrite Driving Academy. It has been formed to create a pathway specifically for the Temporary Traffic Management Industry. Evolution are traffic management experts who have been delivering industry related training for close to 15 years. PassRite are long established (25 years) specialists in driver licensing, training and assessment; including traffic management vehicles.
