25 Year Celebrations This Month For Armstrong Motor Group

Armstrong Motor Group are celebrating a significant milestone this month, as a way to say thank you to everyone who has been instrumental in turning their vision of 25 years ago into reality.They are inviting everyone to an evening to celebrate the past 25 years of their achievements.

Armstrong Motor Group began in Christchurch in 1993 and has grown steadily since its early days. Today it is one of the most successful automotive retail businesses in the country, representing 18 of the world’s most prestigious automotive brands and employing over 450 people.

With established dealerships in Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington and Lower Hutt, the most recent phase of the company’s expansion has been an investment into the Auckland market, opening one European and three Toyota dealerships. This has been a significant step in the company’s growth. “We had our eye on the Auckland market for some time. Toyota is New Zealand’s favourite car, and in the biggest-selling vehicle market in the country, it was the perfect opportunity,” Armstrong continued.

The move has been a positive one, as the Armstrong-owned Auckland City Toyota dealerships are now the number-one-selling Toyota dealerships in New Zealand.

The next successful chapter in the company’s legacy is about to unfold, with the opening of a brand new state-of-the-art facility in Botany, East Auckland. One half of the site will house the luxury brand Mercedes-Benz, and will be the biggest facility of its kind in New Zealand. The other half of the location is still an open opportunity.
