Wellington sign writing specialists Sign Foundry have merged with their competitor Displayschemes under the Sign Foundry name, with ownership of Displayschemes having changed hands over to Sign Foundry on the 1st of August 2018, and Displayschemes operations relocating to the Sign Foundry workshop in Petone over the next few months.

As well as the change in name from Displayschemes to Sign Foundry, other changes involved in the merger include new accounts information, with all works now being invoiced by Sign Foundry Wellington Limited. However, in their blog post announcing the merger Sign Foundry also reaffirmed that they’d still be maintaining the same commitment to high quality signage and display materials, that staff from Displayschemes would be staying on board despite the merger, and that there would be no changes to any projects that are underway or scheduled, apart from the billing details.

In the same blog post, Sign Foundry assured Displayschemes customers wouldn’t be inconvenienced by the move to their workshop in Petone, as they are used to working across the wider Wellington region and can do pickups and drop-offs for clients, or provide a next-day courier service if needed. They also confirmed that in terms of pricing, while all quotes and contracts given by Displayschemes would be honoured, pricing for all new work would follow Sign Foundry’s price schedule.

Ultimately, according to Sign Foundry this merger is about giving the clients of both companies the benefits of a larger company including more capacity, while maintaining the same high quality customer service – with the same point of contact where possible. Sign Foundry also urged clients of either company who had any issues to get in touch and let them know how their needs could best be met during the merger.

Whether it’s neon signs or a vinyl wrap for a car, Sign Foundry are experts in all things signage in the Wellington area, and also take on clients in Christchurch and nationwide.
