Rubber Monkey now Stocking Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K Camera and More

Rubber Monkey is proud to announce the first stock arrival of the revolutionary new Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K Camera. The camera includes a new handheld design, which scales down Blackmagic’s legendary cutting-edge technology, in order to be with you anywhere. It’s 4/3 size sensor, 13 stops of dynamic range and dual native ISO up to 25,600 achieves HDR images and unbelievable low-light performance.

The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema features a leading-edge high-speed USB-C Expansion Port. USB-C is responsive, adaptable and even provides power, so it’s swiftly gaining traction as a standard on all modern computers and devices. The large bandwidth of USB-C makes it possible to connect external accessories such as flash drives and SSDs for significantly longer recording times. This can be important when shooting high quality lossless 12-bit RAW, or 60 fps 4K.

The portable camera’s new extended mode is able to give you the latitude of film with the advantage of video, so you can get excellent images without spending a lot of time in post-production. It’s also compatible with most lenses, due to its MFT (micro four thirds) lens mount. You’re able to access a full range of lenses via PL, C and EF adaptors – this means you can use a lens no matter which manufacturer it comes from.

This gives you access to the newly added Fujifilm lenses in the Rubber Monkey catalogue! Along with these lenses, Rubber Monkey now stocks a full Fujifilm range, including the X-T20, the X-T3 and the X-H1.

Finally, Rubber Monkey has confirmed that the Loupedeck+ Photo Editing Console will be joining the catalogue. The console cuts a direct path between your inspiration and what’s happening on screen by making editing faster, and allowing you to focus on what's important - your craft.

Loupedeck’s extremely intuitive buttons, dials and sliders ensure your eyes and hands work seamlessly together. Complete control at the touch of a button makes adjusting and fine tuning your images and videos a breeze. Loupedeck+ is compatible with Adobe Lightroom Classic CC, Aurora HDR, and Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Additional editing software will be added later this year.
