We have all heard of Pencarrow Cabin’s New Zealand made portable cabins, but did you know, that as well as being able to buy one of these stylish small houses, you can also rent, or ‘rent to own’, a great way to purchase one of their quality cabins with or without a deposit.

The way this works is, the terms of the contract are negotiated between you and Funding Solutions, and typically the rent to own contract is five to seven years, but can be longer or shorter depending on the weekly rent you agree to pay.

All cabins come with a 15m caravan power lead that can be connected to an existing power source, and all cabins have an Electrical Compliance Certificate, smoke alarm and are RCD protected. All cabins are constructed using a galvanised steel chassis and timber framing, and Pencarrow Cabins only use the finest New Zealand materials built by qualified tradespeople.

All walls and ceilings are insulated using high quality Earthwool® insulation, in combination with  EXPOL underfloor insulation, and all cabins are insulated to NZ3604. Double glazed windows and doors come standard because living in a space that is warm, dry and comfortable is not negotiable.

Cabin rental can be paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly in advance by automatic payment or direct debit. The minimal rental period is six months, but shorter rental periods are possible. There is a delivery fee of $200 (inc. GST)  and includes delivery of your cabin to any location within a one-hour drive of Porirua City. Collection is also included at the end of your rental period. If you are between one to two hours from Porirua City the delivery fee is $250 (inc. GST) There is also $200 payable on delivery of your cabin and refunded to you on return of your cabin in good condition and undamaged.
