More News on Fexco Samoa's Sponsorship of the South Pacific Games

Fexco Samoa has pledged a $200,000 tala sponsorship for the 2019 Pacific Games, following the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Pacific Games Committee. They are also running a promotion where customers exchanging foreign currency in their stores will have a chance to win $5,000 cash to see the opening ceremony of the games.

Fexco Samoa country general manager, Molioo Fonoti Pio Molioo said No1 Currency is honoured to be a Silver sponsor of the 2019 Pacific Games. “It will be our privilege to collaborate with the organisers and the community to bring forth the best in our athletes,” Moilioo said. No1 Currency honours the pursuit of excellence, recognising the best in the Pacific and celebrating everything that is number one in our people.”

The games are being held on 7th – 20th July and this is the third time held in Samoa since event began in 1963. This is also a major event with 24 nations participating in over 26 sporting events and over 3,000 athletes are expected to take part. The promotion is in the guise of a raffle, where all customers completing an fx transaction can have the chance to win a cash prize to see the games live.

For each FX transaction, a customer can fill out an entry slip to the raffle by completing their name and telephone number onto the raffle form. All entry boxes will be collected by 15th June and a winner will be selected 18th June.

The raffle is open to residents or customers currently living in New Zealand and is open to all FX transactions, any value and buy or sell. It is not available for WU transactions.
