It came as no surprise to the Rangitahi team that when their project was first released in 2017, 56% of the sections in stage one sold to local Raglan residents, some of whom were new families relocating there from around New Zealand. Also, after 12 years of planning, there was a lot of local interest generated from Raglan locals in the opportunities presented by this far-sighted project.

With local Raglan residents wanting to secure an affordable and beautiful piece of land to build a good quality home within close proximity to the town centre, Rangitahi has ensured that a small percentage of their stage one sections were sold to housing companies, who will provide “house and land packages” to the “turn-key” sector of the market. Whether these will be full time residents or holiday homes is something yet to be determined.

As well as selling to Raglan residents, 26% of the stage one sections were sold to families that have had a special connection to Raglan, whether they have been holidaying there for years, grew up there or have family living there. Rangitahi provides the chance to reconnect these families with Raglan, an opportunity to build a family bach and continue their legacy of family memories in Raglan. A lot of these couples/families plan to retire or move their business there.

For the team at Rangitahi, it has been exciting working with all types of buyers, who share the vision of urban design, to create a vibrant extension of the Raglan community. Rangitahi’s vision is to sustain and celebrate Raglan’s dynamic and unique culture, in line with the typical Raglan “village-scape,” so for more information on Raglan real estate, coastal land for sale NZ and Waikato real estate please go to https://rangitahi.co.nz
