Allegion's Quickfix™ Technology Wins Australia's Coveted Good Design Award for Design Excellence

On 11 July this year, at the 61st annual Good Design Awards Ceremony, Allegion were the winners of Australia's peak industry design awards – the highest honour for design and innovation in the country.

The annual Good Design Awards are Australia’s most prestigious international awards for design and innovation, with a proud history dating back to 1958. The Awards celebrate the best new products and services on the Australian market, excellence in architectural design, engineering, fashion, digital and communication design, as well as reward emerging areas of design strategy, social impact and design entrepreneurship.

QuickFix™ technology, by Allegion, received a prestigious Good Design Award Winner Accolade in the Product Design category in recognition for outstanding design and innovation. The locally developed technology features on the recently released Schlage Form and Schlage Medio Series, and is the latest in almost 100 years of continued innovation featured in Schlage products.

The Good Design Awards Jury praised QuickFix™ technology, by Allegion, commenting, “Quality design details with a balanced aesthetic. It is highly commendable that it is designed with recyclability in mind, and the ease of installation and reduction in installation time is the QuickFix's best advantage.
