Mist NZ sees some big changes occurring in the industry at the moment, with Jenny Salesa, MP for Labour announcing a plan for banning all flavored e-liquids, excluding tobacco mints and menthol.

Mist NZ is currently in conversation with other well knows vape stores from around New Zealand, and advocacy groups such as vtanz and avca, and their plan is to lobby against these changes. However, they cannot succeed without the help from the vaping community who plan on fighting this battle right through to the end.

Ninety percent of vapers who gave up smoking used multiple different flavors to quit, opposed to the only flavours that are suggested in the ban. Mist NZ are also making changes in their delivery system from now on, and will no longer offer (no signature required deliveries). This move has come in the wake of reducing under age vapers, and people can expect to see this trend to have a chain effect on other vendors.  They will also be focusing their blogs on the up and coming changes in the industry, with current events as they unfold, and are also urging everyone to send in their statements to the government.

Later this year the government intends to regulate vaping, but there were growing concerns in the vaping industry that it would follow the UK and ban full-strength e-liquids which deliver nicotine levels comparable to cigarettes. If the Government drops the nicotine levels by regulation to say one-fifth of that found in a conventional cigarette, then that will decimate the local vaping industry with only Big Tobacco coming out on top.

This would mean fewer smokers make a successful transition to vaping, so we'd see Kiwis quitting tobacco at a much slower rate. In fact, it's highly likely the outcome of all this could deliver the complete opposite of what the Government actually wants, so to find out more about fruit-flavoured e-juice, vape liquids and e-liquids New Zealand please go to https://www.mistnz.co.nz .
