DE Healthcare have recently launched new personal protection equipment, including soap free hand wash and moisturising lotion, filling out their hand care range. They have also brought in Kleenex paper towels, to fill out general office supplies, and on top of this they have launched an eco-range of bin liners, available in both compostable and biodegradable variations.

Regarding their soap free hand wash, the Microshield Skincare Cleanser is a pH balanced skin cleanser developed for frequent hand washing and cleansing. It is suitable for whole body washing, and for sensitive and aging skin and is commonly found in patient bathrooms/showers, clinical sinks and areas of high frequency hand washing.

Similarly, the Microshield Moisturising Lotion 500ml Bottle softens and conditions to keep skin feeling soft and smooth. It quickly absorbs and penetrates the skin without leaving an oily or greasy residue.

DE Healthcare’s Kleenex optimum hand towels are designed to be the optimal size for effective single sheet hand drying. Using just one sheet during each hand drying experience reduces waste, cost and maintenance while dispensing one towel at a time enables a hygienic experience for users.

Compost Me Bin Liners and other packaging products are made from trees, plants and compostable polymers. Their fully certified Home Compostable products are designed to break down to CO2, H20 and biomass leaving no negative effect on the germination and the growth of plants.

Oxo-biodegradable large bin liners are made from TDPA (Totally Degradable Plastics Additives). When added in small quantities to the most common and widely used commodity resins during the manufacture of finished plastic products, it causes the modified plastic to degrade at a controlled rate.

EPI’s TDPA formulations catalyse or accelerate the degradation rate of plastics, increasing the rate of degradation by 100s – 1000s of times faster. When discarded in soil in the presence of micro-organisms, moisture and oxygen, it will biodegrade, decomposing into simple materials found in nature. The product is degradable to non-toxic end products within 1-2 years, when discarded in landfill.

Once in landfill, the micro-organisms break it down to Carbon Dioxide CO2, water, humus (complex organic substance which is important to the fertility of soils), and trace elements (micro-nutrients which are required by living organisms). They are consumed by micro-organisms after the additives have reduced the weight.

DE Healthcare’s range includes, but is not limited to, sanitation products, as well as dental products and instruments, so for more information on piercing specific products, tattoo specific products and beauty specific products please go to https://dehealthcare.co.nz .
