As the Football World Cup kicks off in South Africa this weekend, three lucky players from Porirua, Christchurch and Gore have scored $356,891 each with Lotto First Division this week, NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.

The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Waitangirua Four Square in Porirua, Halswell New World in Christchurch and Gore New World in Gore.

Two Strike players from Thames and Manukau also won $87,880 each with Strike Four. The winning tickets were sold at Martina Four Square & Lotto in Thames and Botany Junction Four Square in Manukau.

Powerball First Division was not struck tonight, so the jackpot for next week will be an estimated $11 million.

Tonight’s other big winner was Winning Wheel’s youngest-ever spinner, Yifan, who spun up a $175,000 prize on Lotto’s Winning Wheel.

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.

Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was won by an online MyLotto player from the Kapiti Coast. The serial number is 742-55995657-20XX.

“Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any NZ Lotteries outlet."
