Sir George Seymour National College of Airline, Travel and Tourism is possibly one New Zealand's largest airline, travel and tourism training providers and on Thursday the 11th of November they are throwing open the doors for a Nationwide Open Day.

Sir George Seymour College was first established in Christchurch in 1991 and now covers the breadth of the country with 5 campuses in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. The College is named after the ship, Sir George Seymour, who brought immigrants and also New Zealand's first tourists to Christchurch in 1850.

The open day is planned to run from midday on Thursday the 11th of November and from what I've been told it's a great opportunity for anyone thinking about where to start in a Travel and Tourism Career especially families whose children are leaving school this year and planning their future.

From the website at http://www.sirgeorge.co.nz their OPEN DAY promo lists the following features of the day.

- Explore the amazing course options for 2011
- Visit the campus facilities
- Meet the fantastic tutors
- Talk to existing students

I am going to be at the Hamilton Open Day with one of my eldest daughters so see you there.
