Change in MediaWorks managemet

MediaWorks Director of Marketing & Communications, Roger Beaumont, is stepping down from his current role with the organisation.

“Over summer I have reflected on things and decided that after nearly ten years it’s time for a change,” he said.

“I’ve really enjoyed the last ten years, and with the launch of FOUR ready to go, and TV3’s new season about to launch, the time seemed right for the change.

“It’s been a privilege to be in the Company since 2001, working with some of the best people in the business, and also contributing to the growth of our brands.

“I’m going to be doing consulting work, including some activity for MediaWorks, so I’ll still be involved with the organisation and industry,” he said.

MediaWorks Group Managing Director Sussan Turner commented: “Roger has made an enormous contribution to the Company over the last ten years and he has been a vital member of the senior executive team. He will be sorely missed.”

Mr Beaumont leaves his fulltime role with the Company at the end of February.
